Delia
Hi, Iβm Delia, a Registered Psychologist who enjoys helping adults better understand themselves, make sense of their experiences and find ways to navigate life that feel more authentic and fulfilling.
How I work
I take a warm, collaborative and compassionate approach to therapy, creating a space where clients can slow down, reflect and feel understood.
Iβm interested in helping people explore emotional and relational patterns that may have developed over time and continue to shape how they see themselves, relate to others and navigate the world. Together, we work towards developing greater self-understanding, building self-esteem and finding practical ways to create meaningful, lasting change.
Originally from South America, I bring a cross-cultural perspective to my work and recognise the importance of each personβs background, lived experience and values.
My practice is trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming and LGBTQIA+-affirming, and grounded in cultural humility. I offer sessions in both English and Spanish.
Areas I can help with
My therapeutic approach
My therapeutic approach draws on Schema Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Interpersonal Therapy (IPT). I integrate these approaches according to each personβs individual needs, helping clients develop greater self-understanding and work towards meaningful, lasting change.
Delia is seeing adult clients.
